From a self-admitted control freak, let me tell why you NEED a day-of coordinator but why you probably should get Sam for more. People do not act sane around/at weddings, and it is too much stress and pressure thrust on the couple. Sam steps between you and that storm and shelters you. She created multiple in-depth timelines, saw that every detail was accounted for and executed, and then immediately went to bat when things cropped up. (Ex- the venue accidentally turning the lights on before the end of the night because they thought it ended earlier.) She draws the hard lines so you don't have to. Worth every penny."
